Results Posted for last monthly, Saturday, December 10th

It was a nice day as we settled down for the last Monthly Disc Golf Tournament for the year. Yes it has been another whole year. We had fun this past year running the tournaments and we hope everyone enjoyed playing in them.

We had a decent turn out for the Monthly this Saturday, with 24 people in four (4) divisions, Open (5), Advanced (5), Intermediate (2) and Novice (12). Thanks everyone for coming out for the last tournament of the year.

In the Open division it was Craig Neill who took 1st place with a score of 98 (-12) for $39.

In the Advanced division it was Wyatt Coover who took 1st place with a score of 111 (+1) for $22.

In the Intermediate division it was Zac Patchen who took 1st place with a score of 112 (+2) for $14.

In the Novice division it was Nick Bermudez who took 1st place with a score of 116 (+6) for a prize.

We also want to welcome a new women player, McKayla Thomas to the tourmament. We hope to see her and more women next year. Remember that we will create a Women's Division or any other special division (Masters, Grand Mansters, etc) for a tournament as long as we have at least 3 players in the special tournament and at least 3 players in the regular division. For example, if we have 3 Advanced and we have 3 Advanced Masters players then we will create 1 Advanced division with 3 players and 1 Advanced Masters division with 3 players. Just ask!

No one hit an ACE this month so the ACE pool will roll over to the first monthly tournament on Saturday, January 14th, 2012.
