The La Mirada Disc Golf Club hosted their weekly disc golf tournament on Tuesday, May 22nd at 5:00pm. We had a good turnout with 30 players in four (4) divisions. Open (1), Advanced (11), Intermediate (7) and Novice (11).
In the Open division it was "Super" Dave Bretado who took 1st place, beating himself with a score of 47. He takes back his $12. Joel Hall commented that the rest of the regular Open players are tired of playing for 2nd place. To that I say, fine, then get more Open players to come play against you!
The La Mirada Disc Golf Club hosted their weekly disc golf tournament on Tuesday, May 15th at 5:00pm. We had another great turnout with 44 players in four (4) divisions. Open (7), Advanced (16), Intermediate (12) and Novice (9).
ATTENTION TOURNAMENT PLAYERS! On Saturday, May 12th the La Mirada Disc Golf Club will be hosting their Monthly Disc Golf Tournament. This will be a SPECIAL tournament because it will include 22+ Women Players from the PDGA Women's Global Event. As such we are limiting the Open, Advanced and Intermediate Divisions to a total of 50 players. So please make sure to get to the park early and get signed up. Only 50 players will be allowed to play, plus the Women's Global Event players. No Novice Division is available this month.
Attention Past Club Members! The La Mirada Disc Golf Club still has plenty of 2012 Bag Tags available. The renewal fee for past club members is only $10. You can renew your membership at any Weekly or Monthly Disc Golf Tournament.

Attention Local Women! On Saturday, May 12, 2012 the La Mirada Disc Golf Club is proud to be one of the many hosts for the PDGA sanctioned Women's Tournament called the "Women’s Global Event". At our usual monthly tournament we will be playing the BACK-18 course twice so that all of the Women Players that participate in the club monthly will be part of the Women's PDGA Global Event. We are registered with the PDGA.
The La Mirada Disc Golf Club held their Weekly Disc Golf Tournament on Tuesday, May 1st at 5:00pm. We had another great turnout with 38 players in four (4) divisions, Open (6), Advanced (12), Intermediate (13) and Novice (7).
In the Open division it was Joe Gruttadauria who took 1st place with a score of 44 (-10) for $47.
In the Advanced division it was regular Matt Hutchings who took 1st place with a score of 48 (-6) for $35.
In the Intermediate division it was a tie between Brandon Morgan and Troy Wallace. They both shot 53 (-1) for $23 each.
The La Mirada Disc Golf Club held there monthy and two weekly disc golf tournaments for April 14th, April 17th and April 24th. I finally got the scores posted on the Results page.

For the Monthly the winners were: Bobby Musick (Open), Rory Coe, (Advanced), Patrick McConnell (Intermediate) and Brian Jensen (Novice).
For the Weekly on April 17th the winners were: Joe G & Super Dave (Open), Bama (Advanced), Daniel Enos & Nick Bermudez (Intermediate) and Roy Trigueros and Sam Shade (Novice).
On Sunday, April 15th at 8am the La Mirada Disc Golf Club got together to replace two (2) Disc Golf Tees on the Lakeside 18 course. We replaced Tee #5 and Tee #6. This was all done under the direction from the La Mirada Tennis & Disc Golf Pro Shop Owner, Mr. Lee and partner Patrick McConnell.

The La Mirada Disc Golf Club held their weekly disc golf tournament on Tuesday, April 10th at 5pm. We had 36 players in four divisions, Open (8), Advanced (8), Intermediate (11) and Novice (9).
In the Open division it was #1 Ranked La Mirada Player, Bobby Musick who took 1st place with a score of 46 (-11) for $48.
In the Advanced division it was regular Larry Grace who took 1st place with a score of 55 (-2) for $31
It was a cloudy and breezy Saturday as the players arrived for the La Mirada Disc Golf Monthly Tournament. This was the 5th Saturday of the month so we played 1 Round of 27 holes which included the Lakeside 18 Course plus a Long Nine (9) hole course on the back which included a 950 foot PAR 5 hole and 3 PAR 4 holes.
We had an awesome turnout this month with 41 players in four (4) divisions, Open (7), Advanced (14), Intermediate (15) and a Women's Only Division with (5). There was NO NOVICE division this month.
