ALL BASKETS SOLD AND REPLACED!

The La Mirada Disc Golf Club worked with the La Mirada Pro Shop and LA County of Parks and Recreation to replace six (6) disc golf baskets at La Mirada Regional Park.

The Club purchased six (6) new Innova Baskets with club funds and replaced five (5) of the baskets on the Back-18 course and one basket on the Lake-18 course.

The BACK-18 course now has all of the same type of baskets, hurray!

The old baskets were sold to Active Club Members for $100 each. The following purchases were completed today, Saturday, July 7th.

On Saturday, June 30th the La Mirada Disc Golf Club held their Monthly Disc Golf Tournament at La Mirada Regional Park. Since this was the 5th Saturday of the month we played one (1) round of 18 holes. We played the BACK-18 PAR 57 course. We had a good turnout with 33 players in four (4) divisions, Open (5), Advanced (13), Intermediate (10) and Novice (5).

In the Open division it was our regular youngster Kyle Maddox who beat the rest of the Open players with a score of 49 (-8) for $39.

On Tuesday, June 26th we had another beautiful day at La Mirada Regional Park. The La Mirada Disc Golf Club held their Weekly Disc Golf Tournament. This week we played the LAKE-18 PAR 54 course. We had a good turnout with 36 players in four (4) divisions, Open (6), Advanced (11), Intermediate (7) and Novice (12).
In the Open division it was Jose Alcala who took 1st place with a score of 46 (-8) for $47.
In the Advanced division it was "Bama" Steve Civitak who took 1st with a score of 51 (-3) for $32.

On Tuesday, June 19th the La Mirada Disc Golf Club held their Weekly Disc Golf Tournament at La Mirada Regional Park in La Mirada, California. This week we played the BACK-18 PAR 57 course. We had a good turnout with 34 players in four (4) divisions, Open (4), Advanced (11), Intermediate (5) and Novice (14).

In the Open division it was Noah Rodriguez who took 1st place with a score of 52 (-5) for $31.

In the Advanced division it was Kendall Cordova who took 1st with a score of 58 (+1) for $32.

On Tuesday, June 12th the La Mirada Disc Golf Club held their Weekly Disc Golf Tournament at La Mirada Regional Park in La Mirada, California. This week we played the Lakeside-18 PAR 54 course. We had a great turnout with 41 players in four (4) divisions, Open (5), Advanced (10), Intermediate (13) and Novice (13).

We had another good Monthly Disc Golf Tournament at La Mirada Regional Park. The La Mirada Disc Golf Club hosted the 2 round disc golf event. The first round was played on the Lake-18 PAR 54 course. The 2nd round was played on the Back-18 PAR 57 course. We had 34 players in four (4) divisions, Open (3), Advanced (12), Intermediate (11) and Novice (8).

In the Open division it was a battle throughout the day between "Super", Jose Alcala and Craig Neill. The leader changed hads all day long, but it was "Super" Dave Bretado that took 1st place with a score of 98 (-13) for $37.

We had another good turnout for the La Mirada Disc Golf Club Weekly Tournament. We had 44 players in four (4) divisions. Open (5), Advanced (16), Intermediate (11) and Novice (11).

This week we played the BACK-18 PAR 57 course with the Island hole on Tee #6 to the back corner.

In the Open division it was #1 Ranked Local Bobby Musick who took 1st with a score of 48 (-9) for $39.

The La Mirada Disc Golf Club hosted their weekly disc golf tournament on Tuesday, May 29th at 5:00pm. We had an awesome turnout with 49 players in four (4) divisions. Open (8), Advanced (11), Intermediate (15) and Novice (15).
In the Open division it was regular Joel Hall who took it with a 45 (-9) for $48.
In the Advanced division it was club member Kyle Maddox who lite up the course with a 47 (-7) for $35.
In the Intermediate division we had a tie between Brandon Morgan and NIck Mata. Both shot 50 (-4) for $25 each.
